The CS62DU provides features normally found in much larger KVMs. 

Start with DVI video which eliminates video distortions caused by the digital to analog conversion inherent with VGA; add 2.1 audio support for the full rich bass produced by a three speaker computer audio system. Switching computers is simply a matter of tapping the one touch switch, or using a  few keystrokes, to independently switch KVM focus and audio, or to initiate Auto scan to monitor your computers at a selectable rate.  Because the CS64DU intercepts switching commands directly from the keyboard, there is no software to install on your computers, and it is compatible with virtually any operating system that is USB and DVI compliant.

A truly unique feature for a KVM of this size is the USB controller built into the mouse port., which allows a powered USB hub to be connected for printer, scanner, hard drive, etc. sharing between the attached computers. Because the connection is a USB controller, the CS62DU supports the programmable buttons on high end mice. 

The CS62DU supports full DVI single link 1920x1200 resolution and is DDC2B compliant.

The Auto scan provides a means to automatically monitor your computers at a selectable rate (handy for installs, backups, and other large tasks that don't need constant attention).
