The Digital Matrix Router supports many popular digital interfaces, such as DVI, HDMI, SDI and Display Port. It is designed to meet customers needs, providing prompt availability for any interface.
Unlike typical matrix routers, its back plane has slots for various port cards. Users can expand or exchange the slot cards with ease. If future needs are expected, a user can buy this product only with the number of ports currently needed. When the need arises, the user can purchase additional expansion cards to meet current demand.
Various interface ports can be put into the one matrix box but the input ports work only with the same type of output ports. DVI input ports work only with DVI output ports and HDMI input ports work only with HDMI output ports.
The number of input ports does not have to be the same number of output ports. This feature provides more flexibility when a user has a different number of input sources and output displays.
