The ATEN 32-Port Matrix KVM & IP Access Bundle is an ideal network management solution or medium and large corporations. It combines a 4-user, 32- port KVM switch, with two IP access units. This bundle kit allows you access the computers locally through local console, or you can access it remotely through the KVM on the Net unit. This bundle allows 4 users to directly control 32 computers simultaneously and independently. A maximum of 32 users and 4,096 computers can be connected through a combination of daisy chaining and cascading. At the same time, one of the users can be set up accessing through IP. The Matrix KVM allows any type of console to control any type of computer, whether it is USB or PS/2. The users on the master KVM can access any computer, whether it is connected directly or through daisy chain/cascading. Users on local KVMs can access any computer connected to the local KVM, whether it is connected directly or through daisy chain/cascading. It also has many other great KVM features such as Hot Keys, OSD, 3-level password security, hot pluggability, life firmware upgrade, keyboard and mouse emulation, "Keep Alive" feature, AutoScan, etc. It also supports multiple platforms (PC, Mac, Sun) through the use of CAT5 to PS/2, and CAT5 to USB adapters. The KVM on the Net unit is an IP implemented KVM solution that allows network administrators to access computers from any station connected to the network, whether from the LAN, WAN, or the Internet. Network administrators can enjoy freedom from being bound to the server room; work from anywhere in the office, remote locations, or even from home! Since KVM on the NET uses TCP/IP as its communication protocol, network administrators can remotely access attached KVM switches, allowing remote control of the attached servers to perform many tasks with ease and speed, such as installing and running GUI applications, BIOS level troubleshooting, routine monitoring, system maintenance, system administration, and rebooting. It supports 10Base-T, 100Base-T, TCP/IP, and HTTP through the Java Client. The server can be accessed whether it is down the hall, on the other side of town, or thousands of miles away! Utilizing advanced security technologies, KVM on the NET provides password protection, advanced encryption technologies, sophisticated user filters and user management, stealth mode and automatic lockout to make sure that remote access is secure. |
